Ο Stelios Kazantzidis remains one of the most influential artists across the Greek music spectrum. The legend of Greek folk singing, with his unsurpassed voice, has expressed the pain, sorrows, fears and hopes of every popular person from the 1950s to the present day. The songs that Stelios Kazantzidis sealed with his great voice remain immortal.

Ο Stelios Kazantzidis is a basic constant in our popular culture and, of course, a cornerstone of our folk song. No one has been loved like him and no one has been in the place and heart of so many people - an entire people. He is imprinted in our consciousness and in our hearts for his uniqueness in the Greek recording landscape, his identification with social folk singing and the unprecedented acceptance he has experienced during his career.

On Monday 4 August at Corfu Open Space Events, the audience of Corfu will enjoy his songs, performed by his favorite singers George Margaritis, Dimitris Basis and Christianna Galiatsou.
