Ο Lavrentis Mahairitas was one of the most important Greek composers, who left an indelible mark on the Greek music scene. He founded Greek Rock with Termites, he was one of the main representatives of the generation of songwriters of the 90s, he was loved by the public like few artists and his songs have never stopped being heard and played.

The songs "Didymoteicho blues", "How much I want you", "And what I ask", "There in the South", "A Turk in Paris", "Pocket teratakia", "Come on my soul" and "Little Titanic" and many more, are now considered classics in their genre. After the huge success of last year's sold out concert at the Lycabettus Theatre, as well as the concerts that followed throughout Greece, this summer the tribute is coming to Greece. Corfu at the Lefkimmi Salt Lake Festival, on Wednesday 13 August, with Dionysis Tsaknis, Christos Thevaion, Panos Mouzourakis, Mirella Pachou and Steve Tesser, beloved performers and companions of Lavrentis, to honour together our beloved Lavrentis Machairitsas, the interpreter of hits, sensitivity and humanity, who melodically and wonderfully sealed our sounds.
